Community Stories

  • I tried a couple different communities from Roll20 and Ann's Adventures was far and away the best experience I've had with them. There's a tendency for some of these larger DnD 'communities' to feel almost like a 'factory of fun', where the party size is over-extended, the modules are stripped down to very basic mechanics, and there's just a feeling of rote 'going through the motions'. By contrast, I have played with three different DMs in Ann's Adventures so far and not only do I think they put in real effort to get to know their players, the characters, and the setting but I also really appreciate that they have different styles and personalities. There's no one 'good' way to play DnD and when the community is letting their DMs be unique individuals the games can perform to their strengths.

  • I love that Ann's Adventures is a safe space for not only player's but also for their Game Masters. If there is a problem player, every GM in the server has the support of multiple other GM's to discuss and find a solution. As one of those GM's I wouldn't want to be under anyone else's banner because where else would I get real and understanding support like this?

  • I once got stranded in a major city by some airline delays and would be stuck there overnight. One of my friends I made through Ann's Adventures lived in that city near the airport. He was gracious enough to pick me up from the airport and allow me to spend the night in his guest bedroom before taking an uber back to the airport for the next morning. As a frightened little country person I am so grateful I didn't have to try and sleep in an airport surrounded by strangers or stay awake until my next flight after an already long day of traveling.

  • Currents Gallery

    Our amazing Artist Che has some of her work up in Currents Gallery right now in part of a charity event benefiting Habitat for Humanity. On Display here thru April 20th. Her paintings are the cute cats in pots.

  • Exotic Bird Rescue of Oregon

    One of our members fosters exotic birds through the Exotic Bird Rescue of Oregon. You should give the rescue a donation to help them fund much needed medical care for these birds.

  • Art Fight
